How could I have forgotten!?!??!? Bad mommy!

All of this Thanksgiving/bonfire picture posting made me forget something major...on Thanksgiving day, Mia started to REAL crawl...on all fours, hands and knees, REAL crawling!!! Now, for those of you who haven't followed for a while, Mia was "diagnosed" with low muscle tone in her upper extremities around 5 months old (Thanks to mommy intuition!). She's been in physical therapy since the end of August and has made amazing strides! We knew at some point she would be "caught up" with her peers, physically speaking (she is fine in her developemental milestones) but we weren't sure when. She started pulling herself to stand and "cruising" a few weeks back, but had never "real" crawled. She was the master of the army crawl! :) I thought that perhaps she'd never real crawl, as I know some children don't, but I was hoping she would because it would help SO much with her muscle tone. Then, out of nowhere, on Thanksgiving morning, while watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, she did it! At first I thought it was a fluke, but no, she continued to do it that day and has done it everyday since. YAY MIA!!!! :) I think we'll continue to do physical therapy, at least into the beginning of next year, because I don't want to stop and then her fall behind but my sweet angel is REALLY coming along! :)

Bonfire photo hodge podge

Good Morning! Happy Tuesday? (we'll see how happy it is when my mom calls me to let me know what the pediatrician said about Manuel :)

As I said in my Thanksgiving day recap...every year, the Saturday after Thanksgiving we have a family "bonfire" (again, just a fire in a firepit in my Aunt Lucy and Uncle Craig's backyard! :) It's a tradition and we LOVE it! This year, Saturday happened to be one of the coldest days so far this Fall so the majority of us just stayed inside, especially those of us with young children. We still had a blast!!! Here are some pics, in no particular order...

This isn't acutally from the bonfire (it's from Thanksgiving) but I HAD to post it because my cousin sent it to me and it's one of the ONLY pictures we have of Manuel LOOKING at the camera! :)
This is also from Thanksgiving day. Another awesome shot from my cousin! :)
Mia wearing my hats winter hat, pretending to ready for the outdoors :)
Mia (making a silly face) and I (no, I didn't go to OSU, I just love the sweatshirt :)
Manuel waiting patiently to make smores
 Hubby and I
My Uncle Vince with two of his great-nephews Manuel and Christopher
 Mia, just cruising :)
My mom was standing RIGHT next to her, have no fear! :)
My hubby, hanging outside, chatting with guys
Manuel and Christopher having a ball
Mia and my cousin, Megan
*Okay, that's picture overload two days in a row. No more for awhile, I promise (well, maybe ;)

Thanksgiving (basically in pictures :)

Our Thanksgiving and long holiday weekend was AWESOME! I truly love my family SO much (immediate and extended). My aunts and uncles are like second parents, my cousins are like brothers and sisters and clearly my husband and my children mean the world to me! We all live in MD, NY, NC and SC so the holidays (at least one holiday/year) the majority of us get together. My oldest cousin, Rio and his family live in NC. He trains dogs for the military and travels all over the US, so him and his family being part of our "reunions" usually doesn't happen). Anyway, this Thanksgiving was no exception-it was wonderful! Every year we do Thanksgiving dinner at my Aunt Lucy's house. Then the Saturday following Thanksgiving we do a family "bonfire". (more of a fire in a firepit in their backyard! :) It is SO much fun! I haven't uploaded the pictures of the bonfire night, but I do have some of Thanksgiving to share, enjoy...

Before we left the house...

All dressed up in her 1st Thanksgiving Tutu Set (Mother Goose Collections)
I hate that it looks like there is no sheet on Manuel's bed. I swear his room is nice! :)
Looking SUPER adorable! :)
This was the best pic I could get of the two of them! ;) And yes, Manuel is shirtless! :)
This pic makes me laugh...she had just pulled her bow off, hence the crazy hair AND you can see how big her boots are through the "view" window at the bottom of her boot! :)
My mom and her 3 grandchildren...Spencer, Manuel and Mia (this was the best of the bunch! :) 3 children- age 4, age 15 months and age 10 months don't make for the easiest photo ops! :)
Mia and I (that is NOT my camera around my neck, although I wish it was! :) It's my moms!)
My mom and her brother and sister (Aunt Lucy and Uncle Vince)
5 out of 7 first cousins (Tanya, Megan, Erik, Me and Amy (my sister and baby #2 ;)
My hubby, Manny (looking at the scrapbook that my Aunt Lucy makes every year displaying the previous years festivities! :)
Manny and I (I hate how chubby my face looks BUT at least we look happy! :) *And ARE happy! :)
 Manny and Mia
My sister and I (and baby #2 due December 29th)
My mom and I (I'm hunched over because my mom is short and I didn't want the pic to look awkward...FAIL! :)
Spencer and his baby sister :)

*I'll be posting more random pics from the holiday weekend later. I should probably get some work done! ;)

I'm back (well, sort of!)

Happy Monday! :)

It's SO hard to get back in to the swing of working, after having 4 days off. Then upon my return to work I remember that my manager has off today, and my friend, Katie (the only other person in the Pricing Department) has the flu so she's working from home. It's going to be a busy, busy day for me! Oh, and let's not forget the phone call from my son's school around 9am today saying, "Mrs. Gomez, this is Mr. Gary, one of Manuel's teachers. He has some sort of "eye thing" going on and we need you to come pick him up, and take him to the doctors to see if it's pink eye." UGH!! Really? This couldn't have happened the last FOUR days when my husband and I were off work! (although I'm SO thankful it didn't happen over the holiday weekend. We had TONS of family fun going on and I would have hated to miss any of it!) I'm the only person in my department, who is physically in the office today, so I can't leave. My husband works in an underground shooting range, so getting service on is cell phone is basically impossible. So what to do!?!??! Thankfully my mom wasn't working today, so Nonna to the rescue! :) She's picking Manuel up and taking him back to her house for a day of snuggling, watching cartoons and just relaxing. I wish I could be there doing those mommy things, but who's next best...Nonna! :) Now, let's just hope that whatever this "eye thing" is, stays away from Mia.

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

I have a million and one pictures to post, and will hopefully get around to that today.

And, as I promised last week, at some point this week I MUST do a post on all the recent giveaways I've won. It'll introduce you to tons of awesome blogs I follow, and amazing shops/websites where the winnings have come from. It might even give you Christmas gift ideas.

Happy Thanksgiving

*I'm reposting this because I feel like my other posts yesterday might have clogged up your feeder and you may not have seen this! :)*

I know it's a day early, but once tomorrow morning rolls around, the Gomez family will be on the go from Thursday afternoon until goodness knows when! :) So I wanted to take a moment out to wish you all a VERY Happy Thanksgiving! I am thankful for all of you, praying for my family in our times of needs, commenting on how adorable my children are ;) and just reading the ramblings I post. I love following your families and reading your stories. I am thankful for the people blogging has brought into my life.

I have spent the last 24 days going through the things I'm thankful for, and listing them as my status updates on Facebook. At first I thought, "Oh geez, I don't know if I can come up with something to be thankful for EVERYDAY???", but I've been able to. I am SO blessed, and you are too! :) Even if this year has been one of the toughest years in your life, for whatever reason it may be, take a second to stop and REALLY think about what you have to be thankful for. TRUST ME, you have something! In this country we are SO much more blessed then others, so that in of itself, should give you reason to give thanks! If this holiday season is a rough time of year for you (again, for whatever reason it may be)...PRAY! God can carry you through anything. I pray that everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving, that you have family to spend it with (even if it's just one other person) and that joy and love fills your home.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! :)

*Update-I called Mia's nephrologist because NO ONE CALLED ME, and of course they knew nothing of what happened last night! So the nurse who called me last night, and told me that she had talked to Dr. P was not telling the truth, UGH! But, we rescheduled and it is December 23rd at 9am...one month from today, one day before the Christmas holidays begin, etc. but at least it's scheduled!*

First off, I want to say a huge thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers in regards to Mia and her DMSA scan! They truly do mean the world to me, especially coming from people that I don't know in "real life" :) As you can see from my random "outburst" post last night, her scan is not happening today because of the realization that she has reflux and it could have compromised her breathing during the procedure.

As I drove to work this morning, I prayed and prayed and asked God for forgiveness in regards to my reaction last night, after hearing that Mia could NOT have her test done today. I was furious! (not to the nurse who told me this news, but to my hubby who heard the wrath after the phone call from Hopkins! :) I know that for whatever reason God chose to have it not done today. God chose to have the need arise for it to be rescheduled and for that I need to take comfort. BUT I was SO angry. As a very sweet reader and mommy, Jackie, commented, "Do they know what that does to a Mama's heart?" EXACTLY! I couldn't have said it better myself. I've been so anxiety ridden in the days leading up to this scan, worrying about the sedation, worrying about all the "what ifs", etc. And then to call me the NIGHT before, mere hours before she was supposed to be NPO (nothing by mouth) to tell me that we couldn't do it. My heart broke because I was SO close to having it all behind us, and now it's a waiting game AGAIN. But I know, this is all in God's hands and everything will be fine, however, I would have LOVED to have gone into the Thanksgiving holiday without this looming in my mind. But again...God's plan! :)

They are going to reschedule it under general anesthesia instead of sedation. I had no clue what the difference was, so I asked my dear friend Selina, who is a anesthesiologist, and she said that under general anesthesia a doctor will be there to monitor everything and she will have a breathing device in place (assumedly they will intubate her with a breathing tube :( .

Thank you again for your thoughts and concerns. I will keep everyone posted when I get a new scan date.

SO frustrated!!!!

In case you aren't my friend on Facebook...

SO frustrated at Johns Hopkins right now! I understand that it's a world renowned hospital and they are only doing what's best, but PLEASE tell me why in the world did we JUST find out, the NIGHT before her DMSA scan, that they can't do it because of her reflux!?!?!?!? And I know, I know they are only doing what is best and safe, but really...the NIGHT before they call to ask me these questions!??! And then find out they can't do it!!! UGH! They will call me in the morning to reschedule it!!!!

Monday, Monday...

Mondays are not typically fun in the "real world" because it means back to work! :) But today is an extra blah Monday because tomorrow is Mia's procedure and to say I am dreading it, would be an understatement!!! Please pray for her...that she isn't scared, that her being NPO (nothing by mouth) is "tolerable", that she goes under and comes out of sedation without incident, that they IV goes in without a problem, etc. Please pray for me...for my peace of mind. And please pray for my hubby...he will be strong, for me because he knows how I am, but I know it is going to sadden him to see Mia have to go through that, and since he is the one going back with her, he will have to see it all! :( Just typing this makes my heart uneasy and sad, so please, just say an extra prayer (or twenty! ;) for us! And as I always say, I know it could be SO much worst, so some of you might be thinking, "Come on. Get over it!" but it's my baby, and I just wish this didn't have to happen!

On a lighter note...I did go out on Saturday and I was so excited, but didn't take a single picture! NOT ONE!! That is SO unlike me, but it is what it is! We had a great time! :)

I'll keep you all posted about the procedure and let you know how it went tomorrow, after it's over.

Thanks again for your support and prayers! :)

So, this is pretty cool...

Post overload today, I apologize, but I did have to share some news that put a smile on my face..

I didn't win this Photo Freak Challenge, but she did pick my picture as one of her favorites!! :) That totally made my day. As I make it perfectly clear, I am not a professional photographer in ANY respect. I don't edit my photos (usually), most of my pictures are taken with my cheap point and shoot camera :) but I still share my photos because I love them (well specifically my children! :) and I still enter photo challenges when I know I won't win because I'm up against pros because I like to share my pics! :) So anywho, my point is, it was nice to be recognized. Thank you Photo Freak! :)

And speaking of winning, I like to enter bloggy giveaways and have recently won quite a few. I'm going to share the AWESOME blogs I've won them from, and the awesome products I've won. It may give you some Christmas gift ideas! :)

Okay, that was a bit dramatic and completely unnecessary, but now that I have your attention :) ...

Something that I thought would be SO simple I am having the hardest time with, so I thought I would reach out to my blogging friends and I'm sure one of you will be able to point me in the right direction...

As I begin the very early planning stages of Mia's 1st birthday party I have decided that her theme is going to be Winter ONEderland (which I know I've mentioned before :). I plan on making most of her decorations and trying to be as frugal as possbile. As her birthday (1/18/2010) and my sons birthday (1/31/06) fall a little less and a little more then a month after Christmas money won't be falling from the sky so I'm all about FRUGAL, FRUGAL, FRUGAL! :) In keeping with being frugal, I have decided that I am going to make party favors, and have been saving Mia's baby food jars (stage 3-the biggest ones). I'm not sure if I am going to use the jars to make mini sno-globes, make them into candy jars, or who knows what else. I do know that I am going to place a personalized sticker of some sort on the outside (A)to make it look cute and B) because honestly, I don't see myself spending hours and hours trying to get the sticky stuff off that has been left behind after I removed the labels :)) So that's where I need your help...where do I even begin to find these stickers. I've googled, I've searched and everything I find is 1,000 stickers for x-amount of dollars. I don't need bulk, I don't need a ton! :) I need about 50 personalized stickers, big enough to cover a side of a baby food jar! Everything I come across seems geared towards businesses and bulk. That's not what I need! :) I need minimal and cheap!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Maybe perhaps an Etsy shop you can recommend? I have no clue but something super easy (or so I thought) is turning out to be harder then I imagined!

Flashback Friday

My uncle has been on an old pic "kick" lately and posting all sorts of old pictures of our entire family on Facebook. We are a very close family, and I just LOVE that he's doing this. Although we aren't currently all in the same state (growing up, we all lived in MD and it was WONDERFUL) we still stay in touch through Facebook and e-mail. He sent me this picture the other day of moi! :-) It says, "Summer 1983" however, I have on pants and a long sleeve shirt, so I'll go with the 1983 part, the summer part, not so sure! :)

Happy 10 Months Mia Grace...

*Edited-some things mommy forgot...you LOVE to wave! You get VERY excited and start waving like crazy when you see someone you know and love. Or even when it's a stranger. No stranger anxiety for you missy! :) You LOVE to dance! You bounce up and down and it is SO funny to watch! Lastly, the other day you were holding a remote control between your shoulder and ear (as if it were a phone). I didn't make the connection. I just thought it was a fluke. However, today, you did it again, so I said, "Hello" and brought out into this ridiculously silly conversation and you started talking back, as if you were on the phone. It was ADORABLE! I got it on video, but I don't know how to post videos from my phone to Blogger (if I even can.) I hope you are more computer savy then Mommy when you get older! ;)

My beautiful little girl,
Words can not describe how I feel about you! You are wonderful, amazing, high maintenance ;) special little girl! I can't believe you are 10 months old. I know I say that every month BUT it seems like it was just yesterday that I was on maternity leave, taking video of you ever week to celebrate you Week ... "birthday" and now here we are at 10 months!! Time flies! :)

Okay, now down to business...
-Normally the first point I touch on is your weight and height, well, I don’t know exact figures because you haven’t been at the doctors since your 9 month check (you were 19.8 lbs and 28 inches). My best guess would be 20.something lbs and around the same height (how’s that for technical :)) But you don’t go back to the doctors until your 1 year (EEKKKK!) so I’ll just be guesstimating for the next two months! :)

- You are still SO close to “real crawling” (as I have come to call it), but nope, you won’t do it. You will not crawl on your hands and knees. You still army crawl like it’s your job. I have a feeling that you are going to skip “real crawling” entirely, but I guess that remains to be seen. You pull yourself up on anything and everything and a few days again began a teeny bit of “cruising”…you’ll take a few steps along the sofa. You get into EVERYTHING and get where you need to be! :)

-You are in size 4 diapers. I'm not really sure why, because you are no where close to the size 4 weight range, but they don't leak, so we'll keep it that way! :) We use Huggies and I think they are cut smaller, so maybe that's why you're in a 4. Who knows!??! :) (same as last month)

-You are primarily in 12 month clothing. It varies depending upon the cut, but mostly 12 months.

-You continue to spend your days at Linnie's while Mommy and Daddy are working. You are Linnie's baby and she loves you to pieces. You get so happy when we pull in her driveway! (But let me not fail to say, you get SOOOO excited when Mommy walks in to pick you up! ;)

-You continue to have physical therapy once/week with Mrs. Cindy. I’m hoping that after the Thanksgiving holiday we will cut it back to once/two weeks (instead of once/week). We had discussed not doing this until you “real crawl” but what if you choose to skip that step altogether!?!? :)

-I had mentioned last month that I didn’t want to jinx myself by writing about how awesome you sleep, and I was right! :) You started randomly waking up in the middle of the night (only once). Sometimes you can be soothed by your “ninny” other times I bring you in bed (shhhh! Whatever works! :)) But then you’ll fall back asleep until your 5:30am-ish bottle, you fall asleep immediately after finishing that, and then Mommy wakes you up when it’s time to get ready for Linnie’s.

-You are saying “Mama” and “Dada” to the correct parents now! :) It is SO cute!

-You are still a pro at the sippy cup! It’s adorable and you LOVE your water! :)

-You love your Stage 3 food, puffies and Cheerios. We’ve given you bites of “real” food (chicken, mashed potatoes, etc.) and it really seems to upset your stomach. You have always had a finicky stomach…gas, etc. (You’ll hate me for saying that when you’re older :)) but it’s true. So for now, it’s baby food, and that’s it, but that’s fine since you have NO teeth…

-That’s right, you are 10 months old and don’t have a single tooth! :) I don’t even see a sign of any pending teeth! That makes mommy a bit nervous (I’m neurotic, what can I say? )) But I know they’ll come soon! (at least I hope!)

-In regards to your kidney “issues” (which we aren’t even sure what these issues really are yet) you have your DMSA scan on Tuesday, November 23rd. Mommy is scared! I don’t want you to have to be sedated, but I know it’s for the best. Only one parent can go back with you, so that’ll be Daddy. I know Mommy would lose it if I had to go back and watch you be sedated. I know we’ll have answers after this, so I’ll just have to be a big girl about it, but I don’t wanna! :( And the alternative (not that Hopkins offered it, but I’m sure if we refused sedation they’d have to comply) is that they strap you down in a papoose for AN HOUR AND 15 MINUTES! I couldn’t do that to you baby girl! They say children don’t remember but I had proof last night that they do…as I was talking to Daddy about you being sedated, and thankfully they wouldn’t have to strap you down, etc. your brother chimed and, in detail, explained the time when he was around 1.5 years old and he was strapped down for a CT scan (it was when we had taken him to the ER so sedating him wasn’t an option because he had eaten. Clearly we weren’t prepared for a random CT scan!) and HE REMEMBERED EVERYTHING! :( That broke mommy’s heart! He even mentioned the color of the straps they used! :( So baby girl, as much as I don’t want you to be sedated, it’s best!

I think that about covers it my sweet angel! Mommy loves you SO much and although we are ENTIRELY too close to your 12 month post I wouldn’t trade this time with you for anything in this world! :)

Wee Bit Wednesday

{one} what time do you normally wake up?
M-F I wake up at 5:30am. On the weekends, usually between 7-8am

{two} do you have a go-to song for karaoke?
Um, no! I've only sang karaoke once, after many drinks way back when, and I don't even remember what I sang! I'm not the kind of person who likes being the center of attention or having ANYONE look at me, nonetheless tons of people watching me! :)

{three} if you could only see black and white except for one color, what color would you choose to see?
light blue

{four} what color best matches your personality?
I'd say yellow-bright and cheery (usually! ;)

{five} if you could choose one meal to cook better than anyone else, what would it be?
Hmmm, this is hard. I'll go with some sort of fresh fish meal. I LOVE fish!

{six} how many keys do you have on your key ring?
4 or 5

{seven} do you give your pets birthday/christmas gifts?
We don't have pets, but if we did, I'm sure we would

{eight} when your plate has different foods on it, do you mix or not?
I do not mix!

{nine} if you could hire someone to do one thing for you all the time, what would it be?
CLEAN! My husband does the cooking (usually) and grocery shopping (always), so someone who cleaned would be AWESOME!

{ten} when flying, do you prefer the window or aisle seat?
Definitely the window! I've only flown once (to South Beach) but as soon as I got on the plane I thought I was going to die (claustrophobic), so I NEEDED the window!

On Cloud Nine

Every week the super sweet, Carlotta, over at Pastor's girls's ponderings hosts a link up where you post a picture that just puts you on cloud nine when you look at it. I haven't participated in a few weeks, well, you know, life gets in the way sometimes ;) but I had to post this photo...

I love this picture (another outtake from our Christmas card photo shoot)...Mia's face and Manuel's eye peeking through are my absolute fav!

Go visit Carlotta and link up. Feel free to share a picture NOT of your children, but as it's blatantly clear, my main photo subjects are my children! :)

I don't have much to say today because I'm feeling a little under the weather. That is A-O-K though because I'd rather be sick today...as long as I'm well by Saturday! What is Saturday you ask? (or didn't ;) it will be my first night out with the girls in well over a year!! So needless to say, this Momma is in DESPERATE need of some girl time! :) I'm sure the majority of the time will be spent thinking or talking about my children, but it'll still be fun! :) We are all heading out around 4pm to go bridesmaid dress shopping (my friend Mary is getting married in June 2010) and then heading out for dinner and drinks. Dare I say I'll actually have a Steppin Out Saturday post on Sunday morning!??!?! YAY me!!! :) My hubby's grandmother is coming down to visit hubby and the kiddos. She's just going to spend the night which works out perfectly so hubby can come and pick me up when I'm ready to come home! :)

And for good measure...
Oh the days of getting a "real" picture of Manuel are long gone!!! :)
I ADORE this picture of Manny and Mia!
What I wear when I'm NOT Stepping Out ;)...don't be jealous of my Sn00py Christmas pants! :)
My beautiful little girl, standing! :) Her physical therapy is working wonders! :)

Mobile Monday

To say that I HATE traffic, is an understatement, but I try and make the best of it. Mia was asleep in the back seat, we were stopped at red light and I looked in my mirror and saw this...

Happy Monday! :)

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Thank you for your encouraging words about my last post. I'm sure I"ll be asking for prayers again, as it gets closer. I know it's all in God's hands, but mommies worry, that's their job! :)

More pics from this weekend coming soon! I know you'll be holding your breath with anticipation! ;)

Prayers for Mia (and me :)

It was determined a few weeks ago, by Mia's nephrologist (kidney doctor) that Mia would need a DMSA scan in the near future. Well, we finally got word today that her scan is scheduled for November 23, 2010 at 9am. We have to be there at 9am, her scan time is 11am. I'm going to be honest here and say I am scared to death! Scared of what the scan will determine? No. I'm looking forward to having answers as to why her left kidney is significantly smaller then her right one. I am scared to death of her being sedated! :( Although Manuel has been through A LOT (medically speaking-spinal taps, CT scans, x-rays, etc.) in his 4.5 years, he's never had to be sedated. I'm scared to death of this happening to Mia. My husband is also taking off work, so he can be there to support me. I'm sure I'll break down. I cry over EVERYTHING, but especially when it involves my children. I keep trying not to think about it because it's almost 2 weeks away, and what's the point in dwelling on it for two weeks, but still, she's my baby, I'm her mommy and I'm sad she has to go through this. I know being "put under" and "coming to" can be a pretty scary thing to watch and some kids have adverse reactions. I just PRAY, PRAY, PRAY that everything goes smoothly!

Please pray for our family over these next two weeks if you could! :)

Oh, and I almost forgot, since she has to be sedated she can't have a bottle or food after 3am!!! Um, as I mentioned earlier, I've never been through this before, but I would imagine that have a 10 month old (She'll be 10 months old by then) NPO (latin-nothing by mouth) for 10+ hours is not going to be a walk in the park. If anyone has had to do with a child Mia's age, I'd love to hear any suggestions or ideas. It's not like we can sit down and say, "Mia, you have to have a special test done today, so you can't eat or drink until after it's over." She's a baby, she doesn't understand what that means!!! :) All she knows is that mommy and daddy won't let her eat or drink :(

Sorry this post is all over the place, just please pray for my sweet little angel! :)

And for good measure...

Photo Freak Challenge: The BEST pic you have EVER taken

Well, for a mother who is OBSESSED with taking pictures of her children, this contest was really difficult for many reasons...I had a million and one pictures to go through, what happens if my fav ends up being of only one of the kids and not both!??!?!, I'm a TOTAL amateur with a good ol' point and shoot camera who can't even "touch" the awesomeness of some of the other entrants, I don't edit my photos (for the most part) and a trillion other things BUT you know what? That's okay! I narrowed it down to my top 7, and then just ended up FINALLY picking the pic below. It's SOOC, and I just LOVE Mia's eyes, the sunlight on her face, and yes, even the food on her cheeks (hence the reason why she's in the bath! :) Go visit Photo Freak and link up!

RAW(e): Little

I haven't participated in a Raw(e) challenge in awhile because apparently Sami (http://sailorandcompany.blogspot.com/) was TOO busy, having a baby or something! ;) But Raw(e) is back this week. The idea behind this challenge is that you post a SOOC pic, no edits, no fancy shcmanyness (yes, that's a word! ;) So here is my entry for Raw(e): Little

Mia's 1st time at the beach, this past summer.

30 Day Blogger Challenge: Day 30/A Sorta Fairytale Photo Challenge

Today is the last day of Katie's 30 day challenge! :( It's been a lot of fun, given me something to post on uneventful days, and brought me some new friends! :) Thank you Katie for hosting! :)

Day 30: A picture

Also, I'm using this same picture for A Sorta Fairytale Photo Challenge: Windows to the Soul

I LOVE this picture of Manuel! It has always been one of my favs. He and his sister both have those super long eyelashes (like their Mommy! ;). Although he's almost 5, he will ALWAYS be my baby!

The Paper Mama Photo Challenge: Food

I haven't entered a photo challenge in awhile, but I thought I'd give a shot at the Paper Mama's challenge this week..Food

The Paper Mama

One of the first times I actually let Mia "feed" herself and just get messy. I'm not a fan of messes! ;)
